Points to note when choosing drive device for valve

 

When selecting the driving device, the following points should be noted:


1. According to the use situation and purpose of the valve, determine the driving mode: manual, electric, pneumatic and hydraulic.


2. Manual selection:


A Specification of ball valve and butterfly valve DN150 can be driven by handle; Specification DN200 should be driven by worm wheel box.


B. Specifications of gate valve: DN400 can be driven by hand wheel; Specifications DN450 should be driven by gear box.


C Gate specification 600X600 can choose handwheel hoist; 700X700 should choose gear box hoist.


D Globe valve specification DN150 optional handwheel drive.


3. Selection of electric mode:


A. Firstly, determine the type of electric device: switch type multi-rotary electric device and switch type part rotary electric device; Adjustable-type multi-turn electric fixture, adjustable-type partial rotation electric fixture, electric angular travel actuator, electric direct travel actuator.


B. Switched-type electric mounting is used for full opening and full closing shut-off valves. C. Adjustable denso is used for regulating valves that require continuous adjustment of medium flow. The opening and closing parts of the denso control valve can stay at any position of the stroke. The control methods of adjustable denso are as follows:


Input analog control signal, closed-loop control, automatic regulation;

D. When ordering the electric valve, users should pay attention to whether the power parameters, installation mode, output torque, stroke, control signal, protection grade, explosion proof grade and other performance meet your requirements.


E. Electric valves should be carefully read the operating instructions and operate according to the rules before installation and wiring.


4. Pneumatic selection:


A. First, determine the type of pneumatic device: switch type pneumatic device and control type pneumatic device.


B. Determine the structure of pneumatic device: single cylinder single action, single cylinder double action, double cylinder single action, double cylinder double action.


C. Gate valves, knife gate valves and globe valves are directly driven by on-off air fittings installed vertically in the cylinder, generally used for opening and closing. Butterfly valve and ball valve adopt horizontal cylinder to push the fork or rack to drive the opening and closing member 90.
